Bernie Wagenblast Transportation Voice Recordings

In the past I've told you about my voiceover work for clients such as the Port Authority of NY & NJ, Virginia DOT, TransCore and Sensys Networks.  Just last week, The New York Times featured my voice work for MTA New York City Transit.  They asked readers to submit recordings they'd like to hear in the subway stations and we recorded nearly a dozen.  I invite you to give a listen to the recordings.  Even if you don't have a need for a voiceover I think you'll enjoy these "fantasy" announcements.  On the other hand, if you're considering using a professional voice for a transit system, phone greetings or narration, these recordings will give a sample of what I can do.  You can also learn more, and hear more traditional examples of my work, by visiting my website.

Transportation Communication Tweets

I'm going to try something a little different.  I'll ask questions from time-to-time and get your responses via Twitter.  It allows the TCN to be a little more interactive and for you to share your thoughts with other TCN readers.  I'll post some of the responses in the next edition of the TCN, but you can also read all of the comments by following my Twitter account.

My first TCN tweet; Do you have a transportation communications pet peeve?  Tweet your responses to @TransportComm.  Thanks!

Transportation Voiceovers

Think about how you market your business.  Chances are most of what you do is visual.  There's your website, your logo, brochures, even signage.  A professional put most of that "look" together.  After all, you're not about to just pick someone in the office with no experience and ask them to handle such an important job.

Now think about the "sound" of your business.  How does your phone greeting sound?  What about any videos you've done?  Often someone in the office, with no experience, was given a script and did the recording.  Is that the impression you want to make to clients and potential customers?  I can fix that and make you sound your best.  My customers have included Sensys Networks, Econolite, the New York MTA and NJ Transit.  Wherever you're located I can record the messages you want.  My rates are affordable and the turnaround is quick.  Satisfaction is guaranteed.  Give a listen to my latest project, the customer information line for PATH by calling 1-800-234-7284.  Hear more samples at my website, www.bwcommunications.net.

Unique Transportation Voiceovers

Have a product or service you're trying to draw attention to?  How about an upcoming event?  Why not use sound to tell people what's happening.  Here's a recording I did for ITS-NY.  In a little over a minute you get a rundown of what's ahead.

How might you use such a recording?  Well, you could put a link on your website, include it in an email blast or even connect to it through a QR code in printed materials.  The link could remain the same with new updates provided on a regular basis.  In some situations, I'd be willing to do a similar recording for free!  Please contact me at bernie@... to learn more.
